Description
The Synergy GT30 offers an alternative to the standard drum and bio chamber set up, with a combination of the drum and a trickle filter!
Recommended for koi ponds up to 6,600 gallons maximum flow rate 30,000 ltrs/ 6600 gallons.
The unique concept of the Synergy Gravity Trickle is the gravity setup. All trickle filters must be installed above water level, which is often an aesthetic problem , but not with the GT30!
With a specially designed water level regulator, the water flows on the upper drip plate. As a result, the water is optimally distributed over the underlying material. The weir assembly ensures that the water level remains constant regardless of the capacity of the pond pump.
This design creates the best pre-filtration through the drum screen, and the best biological process through the trickle section. The water breaks continuously and at a high rate, which means that the oxygen uptake in the water is increased. As a result, there is continuous outgassing of ammonium and Co2.
Supplied with 150 litres of Crystal Bio media, which has an extraordinary porous structure . Due to its porous structure, Crystal Bio has an exceptionally large surface area of approximately 18000m2/m3. It also affords Kh buffering properties. Of course, you can use your preferred media, such as our Kano Shower media. With 300 litres of Crystal Bio , approximately 1600 grams/day can be fed.
